Lounge admittance

Our Cathay Pacific lounges are available to First and Business Class passengers, selected Cathay members and oneworld partner programme members.

We follow the legal age definition in local laws and policies of lounge operators for alcohol consumption and lounge admission. Definition of legal age may vary across different countries. For passengers under the legal age and travelling alone, our airport teams will arrange for an alternative option when necessary.

If you're travelling on Cathay Pacific operated flights in different cabin classes within the same journey, you can enjoy lounge access if at least one sector of your journey is booked in First or Business class, and your connection is within 24 hours.

We will honour the highest class of travel for lounge entitlement* throughout the same journey to ensure maximum comfort. In cases where the journey includes a stopover, lounge entitlement will be honoured based on individual sectors.

*Please note that lounge entitlement is determined by the highest tier of benefits applicable to the passenger and cannot be combined with other membership benefits.

Note on First Class lounges: Passengers offered complimentary upgrades to First Class are not entitled to First Class lounge access, unless access is otherwise available based on eligible frequent flyer programme tier (for example, Diamond members will be entitled entry to First Class lounge regardless of class of travel). Customers originally booked in Business Class and upgraded to First Class will be entitled entry to the Business Class lounge. Shekou Cruise Home Port lounge access is only available to eligible passengers flying with Cathay Pacific.
