How do I earn and who receives the 100 Status Points after the target is reached?
Cardholders can earn 20 Status Points for every eligible HKD100,000 spent, and up to 100 Status Points per calendar year, starting on 1 January and ending on 31 December. Eligible spending from both principal and supplementary cards will contribute to the principal cardholder's account. Status Points will be credited to the principal cardholder’s Cathay membership account according to the schedule below:
- Status Points earned from 1 January to 30 June will be credited on or before 30 September of the same year
- Status Points earned from 1 July to 31 December will be credited on or before 31 March of the following year
