Available as a mid-status benefit across all membership statuses, Lounge Passes grant you access to our award-winning lounges worldwide.
Once you earn a certain number of Status Points you’ll unlock this mid-status benefit, which you can enjoy yourself or gift to a travel companion or redemption group nominee.
Our exceptional lounges around the world, including our flagship locations in Hong Kong, offer serene spaces to relax, rejuvenate and prepare for your journey. Explore our signature experiences such as a warming bowl of dan dan noodles from the iconic Noodle Bar, an artisanal brew at our Teahouse – or book a Traditional Chinese Medicine-influenced wellness experience that will help you unwind on your flight.
You can also use your Lounge Pass to access selected partner lounges.
How to earn a mid-status Lounge Pass
When you become a Cathay member, you’ll start earning Status Points and exclusive benefits. We’ll automatically add your Lounge Pass to your account once you reach your Status Points milestone.

*Travel companions for Lounge Passes are passengers travelling with you on the same booking or flying on the same date with the same origin and destination.
How to redeem your Lounge Pass
You can use your Lounge Passes as you wish. Here’s how.
To redeem for yourself or a travel companion
Online
On your profile, go to “My credited rewards”. Select your pass and we’ll redirect you to “Manage booking” to claim or share the Lounge Pass with a travel companion. You can claim your pass from 3 months to up to 90 minutes before your flight departs.
Cathay Pacific app
Select “View Profile” to find your Lounge Passes listed under “Mid-tier Benefits”. Claim your pass to use it for yourself or a travel companion. You can claim your pass from 48 hours to up to 90 minutes before departure.
Online

- All lounge passes described in this section must be booked when booking a ticket.
- 1 Business Class lounge pass will be awarded to Green Members once the Member has achieved 200 Status Points.
- 2 Business Class lounge passes will be awarded to Silver Members once the Member has achieved 450 Status Points.
- 2 Business Class lounge passes will be awarded to Gold Members once the Member has achieved 800 Status Points.
- 2 First Class or Business Class lounge passes will be awarded to Diamond Members once the Member has achieved 1,400 Status Points.
- For Green Members, lounge passes are only available to Members or their travel companion on flights operated and marketed by CPA.
- For Silver Members, lounge passes are only available to their travel companions on flights operated and marketed by CPA.
- For Gold members, lounge passes are only available to their travel companions or the Member’s Redemption Group Nominees on flights operated and marketed by CPA.
- For Diamond Members, lounge passes are only available to their travel companions or the Member’s Redemption Group Nominees on flights operated and marketed by CPA.
- Travel companions for lounge passes are guests travelling with the Member on the same booking, or travelling on the same flight date, with the same origin and destination, as the Cathay Membership Programme Member.
- Redemption Group Nominees can enjoy the lounge pass without travelling together with the member.
- Lounge passes must be claimed online and are not available at airport check-in.
- Each lounge pass is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
- Lounge passes for Green, Silver, and Gold Members are applicable only for eligible departure Business Class lounges.
- Lounge passes for Diamond Members are applicable only for eligible departure First or Business Class lounges.
- No cancellation or change may be made after claiming the lounge pass. A physical lounge pass must be presented at the time of entry into the lounge.
- In case of any flight irregularities, the Member should contact Customer Care Team for assistance.
- Lounge passes are not available to Members on Membership Holiday.
- The Cathay Membership Programme terms and conditions apply. All matters and disputes relating to this benefit will be subject to the final decision of CPA and AML.
