This upmarket sports bar has a selection of beers, complete with comforting favourites such as burgers and beer-dough pizzas. You can watch a game of televised football while enjoying an Abbot Ale or Stella Artois.
The troupe's regular puppet shows demonstrate one of Taiwan's proudest homegrown forms of entertainment. Early visitors to the museum can get an interactive preview of the history of puppetry and its role of storytelling for the masses.
This world landmark for ancient Chinese art taps a warehouse of more than 600,000 treasures brought from Mainland China in the 1940s. Displays rotate and constantly surprise repeat visitors with popular, short-term special exhibits.
Take a steep hike up a series of staircases through the forests of Taipei. You certainly won't be in the city anymore. Where the trail flattens out, watch for macaques in the tropical canopy and the wildlife.
