Do
East Lake
China's largest urban lake, the East Lake houses a bird sanctuary, botanical garden, museums and other recreational facilities. Take a stroll along the lake under the canopy of flowering trees and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
The Tanhualin Art Village is Wuhan's answer to Beijing’s 798 art zone and Shanghai's M50 art district. Tanhualin Street itself is a famous old neighbourhood with many Republican-era buildings in the vicinity, and contemporary art galleries have injected new energy to the place in recent years.

Vox
Located within the Optics Valley is Vox, a stylish joint that’s a favourite hangout of yuppies and techies. The classy bar takes on a different vibe when it hosts regular rock performances.
A stroll here is reminiscent of a walk along the famed Shanghai Bund. The area was once a British concession and has been a famous financial district for more than a century, giving it historic and Western-style buildings. Bronze statues of legendary figures along the way add to the nostalgia.

Yellow Crane Tower Park
The Yellow Crane Tower is a nationally renowned structure. Although the tower was originally built in 223 AD, the one that stands now was only put up in 1981. Yet, it is still an architectural marvel and offers magnificent art along the walls.
Rustic, down-to-earth Hubei dishes are served in a cosy setting. It is tucked away in a rather obscure location, so getting there may be tricky, but the journey will be well worth the effort.
