Hotel offers 

As a cardholder, you’ll find there are now more ways than ever to earn Asia Miles with your hotel stays. As of this year, you can rack up miles at a rate of HKD4=1 when using your Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard to make hotel bookings directly through the hotel – either in person or via the hotel’s official website – provided transactions are in Hong Kong dollars. Take advantage of this added flexibility to plan your stay, your way.

In need of a relaxing staycation? As a cardholder, you can get exclusive discounts and privileges at two high-end hotels in Hong Kong. 

When staying at The Upper House between now and 31 December 2024, cardholders are eligible for up to 25 per cent discount off standard room rates, up to HK$800 in hotel dining credit, and daily breakfast for two. You can also make your dining experience at The Upper House all the richer with an array of exclusive dining privileges such as 20 per cent off afternoon tea at Salisterra, 15 per cent off dinner from Sunday to Thursday, welcome snacks at Salisterra’s bar area, and welcome drinks for dinner at The Continental.  

At EAST Hong Kong ,you’ll have access to exclusive dining privileges at selected restaurants from now until 31 December 2024, with up to 20 per cent off your bill when you pay with your Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard.  

Dining offers

Whether you’re dining out or ordering in, mealtimes are more satisfying with your Standard Chartered credit card. All cardholders can earn Asia Miles at a rate of HKD4=1 when spending at eligible dining destinations or on food delivery platforms. 

Even better, when you visit our Cathay partner restaurants, you can benefit from our new Pay Once, Earn Twice (POET) offer. By presenting your Cathay membership code on the Asia Miles by Cathay app and settling the bill with your Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard, you’ll double your miles to earn HKD4=2 – no other steps required.

First class and Business lounge access 

Travelling with friends? Cardholders who also sign up for Priority Banking are eligible to receive four shareable Cathay Pacific Business lounge passes every 12 months, which means you can treat your travel companions or designated redemption group nominees to the comfort and luxury of our airport lounges. 

Meanwhile, eligible Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard – Priority Private cardholders can enjoy two shareable Cathay Pacific First class lounge passes and eight shareable Cathay Pacific Business lounge passes every 12 months.

Get more out of everyday purchases with your Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard, whether you’re booking flights, picking up duty-free items from Cathay Pacific and HK Express, shopping with Cathay, or making bookings with Cathay Holidays. For an accumulated spend of at least HK$8,000 within a set period, you can enjoy a one-off extra  2,667; when combined with basic miles rewards, your earnings can amount to  4,000 for every HK$8,000 spent – the equivalent of HKD2=1.

Heading to a new destination? Let your card accompany you and you’ll be rewarded as you explore more of the world. From picking up keepsakes to ticking off memorable experiences, spending abroad can earn you miles at a basic rate of HKD4=1. 

If you’re a Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard – Priority Banking cardholder, you can earn Asia Miles on overseas spending at an accelerated rate of HKD3=1, while for Priority Private cardholders, you can enjoy a rate of HKD2=1 – making each journey count even further towards the next one.
