For the past 25 years, we’ve been delighted to help you plan your next holiday with Asia Miles – and we’re not done innovating. Since the launch of our flexible miles policy on 1 January 2020, you no longer need to worry about your miles expiring as long as you earn or redeem miles once every 18 months - and keep your more recent ones active, too.

    Dine out

If you ever need an excuse to dine at some of Hong Kong’s best restaurants, here it is: you can enjoy year-round bonus miles while you feast at selected partner restaurants by simply presenting your Cathay membership QR code on the Asia Miles by Cathay app when settling the bill to earn HKD4 = 3. You can also choose to pay with your Standard Chartered Cathay Mastercard® to earn up to HKD4 = 4. If you’re paying with cash, you can supplement the payment with miles or vice versa.

    Book a flight

Our network spans the globe and connects you to 140 destinations worldwide. Rack up rewards by booking a flight or choose First or Business class to earn even more miles. Looking to redeem miles on flights rather than earn them? You can use them to bag yourself extra legroom, increase your baggage allowance or upgrade your ticket to the next cabin class.

One of the best-known ways to spend miles though is to redeem them on a flight - you can easily redeem tickets to your favourite destinations from just 7,500. Miles Plus Cash payment is also available to give you more flexibility.

    Elevate your holiday

Benefit from our partnership with more than 150 hotels around the world to earn (and redeem) miles. Our hotel loyalty programmes can be set to automatically convert loyalty points into miles – which can be applied to a vast range of hotels, including those owned by the Accor group. With miles, you can book a stay at your favourite hotel, with thousands of properties worldwide to choose from. Or you can take your travels further afield by using your miles to rent a car, with rental services in numerous locations across our network.

    Go shopping

Shopaholics are rewarded as Cathay members. There are more than 10,000 products and 35,000 lifestyle awards available when you shop with Cathay – covering everything from holiday essentials to industry-leading electronic goods. You can also take advantage of our shopping partners and earn miles when you shop at your favourite online retailers, such as foodpanda, iHerb and Farfetch.
