Strive and Rise Programme

At Cathay, we are deeply passionate about fostering youth development within the community, exemplified by our active involvement in the Strive & Rise Programme organised by the Hong Kong SAR Government.

From December 2022 to May 2023, we supported junior secondary school students in building their self-confidence and guiding them to develop their personal goals. As part of this programme, we invited 1,600 participants from disadvantaged backgrounds to visit the airport community facilities for a number of Aviation Exploration Days. During these special events, the Cathay Volunteers Team donated their time and expertise to serve as mentors and tour guides, contributing to the success of the program and leaving a positive impact on the participating youth.
