Terms and Conditions for Land+Air service
Land+Air free cross-boundary shuttle service
These terms apply to passengers who redeem or purchase the Cross Boundary Coach Offer via the Cathay Pacific official website--Chinese Mainland Page at https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_CN.html.
This offer is applicable to passengers who purchase flight tickets for applicable routes, flights, and cabin classes, on the Cathay Pacific WeChat Mini Program, Cathay Pacific app, Cathay Pacific official website-Chinese Mainland Page (https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_CN.html) and Chinese Mainland Cathay appointed agency, can be redeemed for free one-way cross-boundary coach ticket from Guangdong to Hong Kong International Airport or used to purchase round-trip cross-boundary coach tickets between Guangdong and Hong Kong International Airport at a discounted price (subject to terms and conditions).
This agreement is reached between you (referred to as “you” or “passenger”) and the Beijing Representative Office of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (referred to as “Cathay Pacific”) on matters related to this offer.
Cross-boundary coach offer service term:
From cities in Guangdong to Hong Kong International Airport: Within seven days before departure of flight departing from Hong Kong
From Hong Kong International Airport to cities in Guangdong: Within three days after flight arrives in Hong Kong

Applicable to one-way or round-trip flight tickets purchased through the designated sales channel for flights operated by Cathay Pacific and departing from Hong Kong and meeting the following cabin class and route requirements, excluding codeshare flights, group flight tickets, free tickets, and mileage redemption tickets:

Discount on cross-boundary coach tickets between Guangdong and Hong Kong International Airport:
In addition to flight tickets for the classes and routes designated above that offer free cross-boundary coach service, it is applicable to one-way or round-trip tickets on flights operated by Cathay Pacific (excluding Chinese domestic routes) purchased through designated sales channels, not including codeshare flights, group flight tickets, free tickets, and mileage redemption tickets.
Scope of cross-boundary coach service: Cross-boundary coach service between Guangdong and Hong Kong International Airport.
Disclaimer: Cathay Pacific acts as agent only in respect of the cross-boundary coach service. Relevant legal liability during the cross-boundary coach service shall be assumed by the actual carrier, that is, the cross-boundary coach service provider. Cathay Pacific is exempt from liability if the passenger is unable to take subsequent Cathay Pacific flights due to the passenger failing to reserve sufficient time.
Applicable terms: the cross-boundary coach service is provided by Eternal East Cross-Border Coach Mgt. Ltd. (Eternal East Coach) and the cross-boundary coach service sector will be subject to its terms and conditions. Flights which are operated by Cathay Pacific are subject to Cathay Pacific’s General Conditions of Carriage for Passenger and Baggage.
Baggage allowance: The baggage allowance for the air segment is subject to the terms and conditions of Cathay Pacific; the baggage allowance for land transportation is subject to the terms and conditions of the cross-boundary coach provider.
Force majeure: Cathay Pacific is not responsible for any losses incurred by the passenger due to force majeure, malicious man-made attacks, system failures, communication failures, power failures, malicious programs, third-party services and other circumstances that are not attributable to Cathay Pacific.
Modification of the agreement: The passenger agrees that Cathay Pacific may suspend or terminate the offer provided to the passenger under this agreement. If Cathay Pacific suspends or terminates the offer, it may notify the passenger through website announcements, text messages, etc.
Applicable law and dispute resolution:
- The formation, validity, interpretation and performance of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macau Special Administrative Region and Taiwan).
- If the passenger has any questions about the services under this agreement, he or she can call Cathay Pacific’s national unified customer service hotline 400 815 2888 for consultation.
- If any dispute arises between the two parties during the performance of this agreement, they shall resolve it through negotiation. If negotiations fail, either party may file a lawsuit in the People’s Republic of China.
Terms of use for coach ticket ordering:
- Passengers can redeem for free or purchase cross-boundary coach tickets between Guangdong and Hong Kong International Airport on the Cathay Pacific official website (free redemption is applicable only to a one-way ticket from Guangdong to Hong Kong International Airport).
- Currently, the system only supports passengers booking shuttle tickets using mobile phone numbers in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, China, Macau, China and Taiwan, China.
- Passengers may select the cross-boundary coach service based on the minimum connection time prompted by the system and bookable coaches departing within 90 days. Passengers must complete the payment process within the specified time or the order will be canceled automatically.
- After completing the order, the system will generate an electronic QR code coach ticket and send a notification via SMS and email.
- Passengers can board the coach according to the date, time, and pick-up point selected at the time of booking by using the electronic QR code coach ticket or by collecting a physical ticket using the ticket number and the mobile phone number used when booking the ticket.
- The staff at the pick-up point will check the passenger’s information and confirm their identity before allowing the passenger to board.
- Passengers are asked to sit according to the seat numbers on their coach tickets. If the ticket displays “no fixed seating,” please sit according to the arrangements of the on-site staff.

- Note: As the operating service company is registered in Hong Kong, only a reimbursement receipt (not a Chinese mainland invoice) can be provided.
Refund and change regulations for cross-boundary coach ticket:
1. Coach tickets are valid only for the date and time for which they are booked.
2. Tickets cannot be changed, please repurchase tickets after refund the original tickets according to following handling fee:

3. The success of the change depends on actual sales. There is no guarantee that there will be enough seats for the time selected by the passenger. In addition, when changing a ticket, you must cancel the original ticket firstly and book a new ticket. Please be careful when changing tickets.
4. Coach tickets redeemed for free can be changed only once for free. If the passenger does not need to take the cross-boundary coach, please cancel your seat and ticket promptly in order to avoid wasting seats on the shuttle.
5. No refunds or coach ticket changes will be accepted within 2 hours before departure.
6. Since the coach tickets of this offer must be used in conjunction with flight tickets, passengers must cancel their flight tickets and their coach tickets at the same time. Cancellation of coach tickets must comply with the provisions on refunds in these terms. The refund amount for air tickets and coach tickets may be returned to the passenger’s original payment account respectively.
7. Passengers must change each coach ticket separately and infants and children must have their coach tickets and travel booked at the same time as adults. Therefore, when there are infants or children in the order, please refund the tickets and purchase new coach tickets.
8. In the event of Cathay Pacific flight cancellations or delays, flight schedule changes, or cross-boundary coach cancellations, please apply for a refund within 30 days from the originally booked coach departure date using the cross-boundary coach ticket refund page on Cathay Pacific official website. After verification, Cathay Pacific will waive the refund fee and refund the coach ticket cost to your payment account within7 calendar days. If the passenger’s submission of the application through Cathay Pacific’s official website fails, please call the Cathay Pacific hotline at 400 815 2888.
Infant/child shuttle tickets:
- The age regulations for infants and children coach tickets is the same as those for flight tickets; that is, infant tickets for those aged under 2 years old, child tickets for those aged 2 to under 12 years old, and adult tickets for those aged 12 years old or above. Infant tickets are not available on some lines; that is, tickets are free of charge for passengers under 2 years old if they do not occupy a seat. Please refer to the price displayed in the system.
- Infants and children must have their coach tickets purchased and travel together with the adults. When only infants or children are in the order, the system does not allow infants and children to book coach tickets alone. It is recommended to purchase coach tickets from other channels for the same coach as the adult with whom they are traveling.
Matters of note:
- Cross-boundary coach tickets can be used only by the person and at the time and pick-up point printed on the ticket. The name on the coach ticket must match the name of the flight ticket.
- Only one coach ticket can be redeemed with flight tickets that are eligible for free coach ticket redemption; that is, they can be redeemed one-way coach ticket only.
- When a flight ticket is refunded or changed and no longer complies with the terms of use, the coach ticket redeemed for free may become invalid and the cross-boundary coach service will be terminated.
- In the event of any dispute regarding flight ticket redemption or the coach ticket offer, Cathay Pacific reserves the right to make the final decision.
