Transiting through Hong Kong

When you arrive at Hong Kong International Airport on a Cathay Pacific flight, you’ll approach the Arrival Hall on Level 5 at the airport.

Stress-free connections 

If you already have your onward boarding pass, simply follow the signs to the nearest transfer point and proceed to Level 6 (Departures). If you need to check in for your onward flight, visit our Transfer desk in area W1. Our airline service desk is located near Departure Gate 11 if you need further assistance.

Please arrive at your boarding gate at least 20 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time.

Note: In compliance with the requirements from Hong Kong Civil Aviation, Cathay Pacific will implement a full reconciliation of passenger travel document check at the boarding gate of Hong Kong International Airport, by comparing the name on the passenger's boarding pass with the name in the travel document, and by comparing the photograph in the document with the passenger if the passenger is unable to proceed using the self-boarding system by biometric facial recognition.
